Ordinary Men Outreach

Ordinary Men is an outreach ministry started in First Baptist Church to help those within our church and the community with physical tasks they may have around their home.

In the past the group has helped a community member move, put up drywall in a home, and helped to take down a tree, among other projects. The group strives to represent Christ by helping to relieve any burdens that you may have.

Men's Monthly Breakfast and Bible Study

Men’s breakfast and Bible study is a chance for the men of our church to join together to learn more about God’s word. Lead by John Halferty, we meet every 1st Saturday of each month, at 7:30am. The men meet at the First Baptist Church to start off the day with a good breakfast, then dive into God’s word.

The Resolution is a small group Study for Men that was inspired by the resolution challenge featured in the movie COURAGEOUS.  The resolution contained 12 commitments related to characteristics that all men of GOD want to pursue, such as responsibility, faithfulness, honor, justice, forgiveness, integrity and courage.  The Resolution bible study walks participates through each of the 12 challenges, identifying their biblical roots and outlining how to live out each godly principle in real life.
